Fujitsu Lab Magdeburg Provides Keynote on AI4U Conference
In the domain of enterprise applications, organizations usually implement application performance monitoring (APM) software which creates a lot of structured and unstructured data from various system instances. In order to take advantage of this massive data collection, the research project between Fujitsu and the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg investigates the comparability and applicability of APM data to serve as an input for a domain-specific performance knowledge base. The research artefact is aimed at supporting decisions of capacity management and performance engineering activities using Advanced Analytics techniques such as optimization algorithms and prediction models. In their keynote at AI4U conference 2019 in Munich, Alexander Kaffenberger (Senior Business Development Manager Analytics & AI) and Dr. Hendrik Müller (Researcher at the Fujitsu Lab Magdeburg) provided insights on this “Next Generation IT Capacity Management”.
