The German-speaking WI-Community is going to meet at the 12th International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik in Osnabrück to discuss the latest trends from research and technology. The VLBA will be represented by two contributions.

Matthias Splieth will present a lecture on the topic "Analyzing the Effects of Load Distribution Algorithms on Energy Consumption of Servers in Cloud Data Centers". In the context of this project, a simulation model for the evaluation of load distribution algorithms and their effects on energy consumption is meant to be designed. Furthermore, in the context of his lecture "Industrialization in Cloud Computing with Enterprise Systems: Order-to-Cash Automation for SaaS Products", Johannes Hintsch will present a concept that contributes to an ERP for the IT service industry.
