Fujitsu Forum 2014

Fujitsu Forum 2014

In 2014, the Fujitsu Forum, which is the largest IT event organized by Fujitsu in Europe, aroused considerable interest among more than 12,000 participants from more than 80 nations. As in the previous years, the Fujitsu Lab of the MRCC was represented at the Fujitsu Forum 2014 and presented recent scientific research results from the fields of Industry 4.0, Enterprise Architecture Management and Operational Analytics to interested parties from all over the world.

During the two-day event, the Fujitsu Lab team could establish new contacts with partners, Fujitsu clients and IT decision makers and could further identify promising collaboration plans. The active exchange with scientists and IT experts from different IT-related fields yielded valuable suggestions for further research activities and projects at the Fujitsu Lab Magdeburg and further proved once again that a close cooperation between research and practice is very important and mutually beneficial.

In the course of a meeting between the Top Management of the Fujitsu production site in Germany and the Head of the MRCC, Prof. Dr. Klaus Turowski, the cooperation between Fujitsu and the Fujitsu Lab Magdeburg, which has persisted for more than two years, could be further intensified and common objectives for future projects could be identified.

The Fujitsu Forum was accompanied by a variety of Keynotes and Breakout Sessions, in the course of which solutions, products, and visions for a "Human Centric Intelligent Society" were presented and discussed.

The Fujitsu Lab Magdeburg team would like to cordially express its thanks to Fujitsu and all participants for a successful Fujitsu Forum 2014 and is looking forward to an exciting year 2015.
