Curriculum vitae

Naoum Jamous, studied CS - Information Systems and gained his doctorate title in Business Informatics as Dr.-Ing. at the Dept. of Technical & Operational Information Systems (ITI) at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg (OVGU), Germany.

Since 2008, he has been employed as a lecturer and scientific researcher at the Business Informatics group within the Faculty of Computer Science at OVGU. The Business Informatics Competence Centre (BICC) of the Magdeburg Research and Competence Cluster has been under his coordination since 2015.

As a project manager and consultant, Dr. Jamous has been gaining practical experience since 2012 through numerous int/national projects in the free economy in the context of university activities and as an independent freelancer. In addition to being a member of many international scientific congresses and a reviewer of both international and scientific congresses and journals, he has held various lectures as a guest speaker at universities around the world.

His main research interest lies in IT-Project Management, IT-Operation Management, Information System Architecture, investigating and analyzing Business Process Modeling, management in ICT infrastructures, and ERP technology. His doctorate thesis dealt with the Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
